Keith Carlson, President and CEO, Innotas
Keith Carlson joined Innotas as CEO in 2006, bringing with him a strong track record for building high-growth, high-value businesses in the technology and consulting sectors. Prior to joining Innotas, Carlson held executive positions at Traiana, an enterprise software company focused on automating the buy and sell side of complex trading relationships; Mercury, the global leader in business technology optimization; Kintana, an IT governance software company acquired by Mercury; DigitalThink, an on-demand provider of e-learning solutions; and Accenture, a global management consulting firm.
At Kintana, Carlson was responsible for Services, Education, Customer Support and Alliances. In that role, he engineered the company's value-driven model for IT Governance and helped drive Kintana's profitable revenue growth. As a Partner with Accenture, Carlson was responsible for founding Accenture's groundbreaking alliance with Siebel and running Accenture's global Siebel implementation business which included more than 1,000 professionals worldwide.
Carlson graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
Shinya Akamine, President and CEO of BlueRoads Corporation
Shinya Akamine is currently President and CEO of BlueRoads Corporation, a leading provider of channel management solutions. Mr. Akamine serves on the board of directors of both BlueRoads and Core Security and was a board member of LiveCapital (acquired by D&B) and Postini. Most recently, he co-founded and served for five years as chief executive officer of Postini, one of the world's largest and most profitable email security firms. Postini pioneered email security as an on-demand service and was awarded fundamental patents covering the email security managed service business model.
Previously in his career, Akamine was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and also held vice president and general management positions at Cygnus Solutions (acquired by RHAT) and other high-tech companies. He is the inventor of ten patents and was honored in 2004 with an Outstanding Inventor award by Stanford University. He was previously recognized by NTT in 1994 for the best research within NTT Worldwide.
Tom Bevilacqua, Managing Partner, ArrowPath Venture Partners
Tom Bevilacqua co-founded ArrowPath in 1997 and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He brings over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience as an executive, general manager, investor and advisor to technology driven companies. In addition to Innotas, Bevilacqua currently serves on the boards of Active Reasoning, Innoprise, MetaLincs, Remend and RouteLogics. Prior investments and Board seats include Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless); Critical Path (CPTH); NetSec (acquired by MCI); Immunix (acquired by Novell); Sanera (acquired by McData); Persist (acquired by Hewlett-Packard); and Knight Trading Group (NITE).
Prior to ArrowPath, Bevilacqua served as an Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial where he held a number of operational roles and was instrumental in establishing E*TRADE's successful acquisition and investment strategies. Bevilacqua was previously a partner at two of Silicon Valley's leading law firms, where he served as an advisor in over 250 public and private financings.
Bevilacqua received his B.S. in Business Administration and J.D. from the University of California.
Demian Entrekin, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Innotas
Demian Entrekin is the founder and CTO of Innotas. As founder, Entrekin oversaw marketing, product development, sales and services for the company. Today, he focuses on strategic product direction. Prior to Innotas, Entrekin co-founded Convoy Corporation and was Chief Architect of its initial products. In that role, Entrekin helped the company lead the middleware market with an annual growth rate of 670 percent and played an instrumental role in Convoy's subsequent acquisition by New Era Networks in 1999. A recognized thought leader in Project Portfolio Management, Entrekin has published numerous papers on PPM and his blog (PPM Today) explores current issues related to successful PPM implementation. During his 18 year career, Demian has assumed leadership roles as a consultant and as an entrepreneur, delivering commercial and corporate database applications.
Entrekin holds a B.A. in English from UCLA and an M.A. in English from San Francisco State University.
Jeb Miller, Partner, ComVentures
Jeb Miller has a decade of experience working with early stage companies and focuses his investments on innovative opportunities across the mobile and enterprise applications and infrastructure sectors. Jeb currently serves on the Boards for Ad Infuse, Innotas and Pano Logic and is an advisor to ONStor.
Jeb joined ComVentures from Worldview Technology Partners, where he invested in enterprise software and data center infrastructure companies. Prior to Worldview, Miller co-founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, where he focused on investments in the data center infrastructure sector. Jeb's prior investments and Board seats include FineGround Networks (acquired by Cisco), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), LogLogic and Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade Communications).
Miller was previously Director of Business Development for Scient, an Internet consulting firm, where he launched and managed the firm's corporate venture arm. Prior to Scient, Miller was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley's global technology group in Menlo Park, Boston and New York. Miller graduated summa cum laude from Harvard with a B.A. in Economics.
